And Slowly Dreaming Stops All Time, Slow My Steps And Starts To Blur...

Hi!

Apologies for the lack of posts: been a tad bit distracted by things lately. I have been thinking about an awful alot... Do you know the feeling where your mind is constantly whirring and its hard to think straight at times? That's me at the moment. Eek.

Despite all of that, I have been enjoying the short-lived London summer weather which has meant more reasons to get snap-happy:

Thanks for catching up with me! Hope you are well!

The meaning behind your blog

The reason why I named my blog Yay! Yah! Yeah! is for a simple reason: I like what the words represent.

Yay:
    'Expressing triumph, approval or encouragement'1
Also, I see it as a term of positivity.

Yah
Not the typical definition of what this word means('an
informal word for yes often used to indicate derision or
contempt'2),I added it to my blog name as I like the sound it
    makes.

Yeah: Come on guys! Yeeaaaaah!

All in all, I want these words to represent my blog as a place where things are celebrated. Be it a little bit of sushi that makes me happy, sunshine, family, friends... I think you catch my drift? So really, things in life which makes me happy and would like to share with you. You can do the same, I'll say 'yay/yeah!' and it'll be a great circle guys! Celebrate life as its too short not to!

A photo of you and your family

Here is a photo of my family. This was taken at my sister Penny's wedding last year.

From left to right: Philip (Philipkaka to me), Anhi, Melissa (Mel C), Me (and my goofy face), Penny (Pencil), Lee (brother-in-law), Jeffe (Cif), David, Charly (Chalky) and the person who holds this family together, my beautiful mother.

I love these people!! I really don't know what I would do without them. I know I'll always have their support and love because we have gone through so much as a family. They have made me the person who I am today and for that, I thank you.

My nephews and nieces:
Anhi's son, Alex/Chicken Wing

Melissa's sons: Cameron (Cam),Ethan, Brandon (Bran Flakes)

Charly's daughter, Jasmine & Penny's daughter, Jada

I love these kiddies so much! They are a mischievous bunch but they are very dear to me. Growing up ever so fast, its scary!

This post is dedicated to you lovely people! <3

Unpacking The Bags And Setting Up And Planting Lilacs And Buttercups...

Hello!

My boyfriend and I spent some time in Dover recently and it was so lovely. Peaceful, serene, beautiful surroundings, friendly people and gorgeous weather to boot! Pure bliss.

I think its great to get away once in awhile to just make you think and appreciate what makes you happy. A much needed break and I need to plan the next one already!

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Sun, come back next weekend!

I have quite a few bags but this is one of my favourites which I use alot.

This was a fun challenge to do as I think what is inside someone's bag, says alot about a person. What do you think this bag says about me? (That I am a hoarder and carry waaay too much stuff? Haha). Perhaps post one yourself and I'll try and take a stab at guessing what I think the contents of your bag says about you!

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!

Something you don't leave the house without

Really? Something a girl can't leave the house without? Nope, it has to be some things! I'm no exception!

       Ipod
This goes with me everywhere. This little device has the ability to get (and keep) me going for the day.

       Lip Balm
My trusty Blistex! I have used this product for years and I still love it. Smells so yummy too. My nephew used to lick this off his lips when he was a toddler!

Watch
I'm not one to look at my phone for the time, instead I rely on my good ol' fashioned watch! Feel naked without it.

           Keys
Have cut down on the number of keys I carry around now but they are essentials to get me into places! You got to have a little keyring with it too.

A TV show you are currently addicted to

   Curb Your Enthusiasm

I have been watching this for a long time now and it is still one of those shows I can't get enough of. Partly autobiographical (Larry is co-creator of Seinfeld) and fictional, it centres around Larry David and the constant trouble he gets himself into every week. What makes this character different is his lack of filter in social interaction. Larry says and does things, not realising it could cause offence to others but at the same time, leaves the viewer thinking 'I kinda agree with Larry'. What I find fantastic about this show is how one incident which is seemingly dealt with during the episode catches up with Larry at the end. This is an indicator of how cleverly written the show is as the viewer does not expect such a thing to happen.

An excellent show filled with great characters and storylines which leaves me rolling on the floor, laughing my head off - highly recommended.
