30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 1

A photo of yourself and description of how your day was

I met a friend for lunch yesterday as we had an 'all you can eat' offer at a Spanish tapas restaurant and we were thinking alot of food was going to be eaten. We were ready for it: 'Yeah we're going to eat loads!'...and it was over before it began - we were full from the first few plates!^o^ Saying that, we were there for a good few hours! I usually have an enormous appetite (I get it from my family) but it failed me today.

Went for a wander down central London after and didn't find anything that caught my eye which is a shocker as I tend to buy some item of clothing/accessory. Hehe... Perhaps this is saying to me 'I guess you don't need to buy that if you don't need it'. High five to me! I usually can't help myself *blushes*

I did, however, buy a book by Charlie Brooker called Screen Burn which is a compilation of his weekly television reviews for the Guardian Guide I used to read. I loooove this guy! He is so funny with his scathing, cruel and relentless criticisms on television shows. It is like there is no filter in what comes out from his mind! It may sound like he is quite mean but I find he is spot on with his arguments. Charlie Brooker's perceptive skills is similar to a comedian's because he notices the small and clever details behind something to make it funny and relatable.

You can see a visual version of his column on BBC Two and BBC Four called Screenwipe where he has also done spin-offs relating to games and the news. Brooker currently has a new show How TV Ruined Your Life so check them all out if you can. I cannot recommend this hilarious man highly enough.

A good day overall. Laughter, food, decisions and realisations today. Until next time, take care!
